Position Overview
As a Front-End Software Engineering Intern, you will work primarily with React and Next.js to build and maintain modern, interactive web applications. You will gain experience working on projects in a real-world environment across a multi-modal development team, creating real impact for our clients. This position offers a unique insight into the world of software development for those just entering the industry, by providing you with meaningful projects and freedom rarely granted to student interns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement front-end web code, working closely with designers and back-end engineers
- Optimize front-end rendering for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure the technical feasability of all UI/UX designers
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Participate in code reviews and improve software quality
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JS
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- An understanding of web markup in HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of React, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js or similar frameworks is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This position is open for both full and part-time. Our team is primarily remote, however there may be some option for hybrid work in Cambridge.
